About Your Captain
Captain Bruce received his 100 ton US Coast Guard license in 1985. He has experience on Tall Ships, supply boats in the oil field, and yachts. His love, however, is the Bahamas. Since 1980 he has worked in the Bahamas and knows the islands like the back of his hand. His knowledge of the people, culture, history and resources enables him to plan your trip to meet your specific needs, with safety and fun being the primary goals.

Captain Bruce gives a part of himself to every trip. He is the ultimate encourager and teacher, allowing everyone to take home the experience of a lifetime!

Sheila hails from South Carolina. As a landlubber she decided to retire before she was 40, and travel. Using this desire, God brought Bruce, the Bahamas, and boats into her life.

After a number of years crewing for other captains, Sheila and Bruce went into the charter business with the double focus of providing a fun, safe, week long charter in the Bahamas, and the opportunity to serve those in need. Their love for the Bahamas keeps them coming back season after season!

We have arranged mission projects with various non profit relief groups, and religious organizations which include the repair of hurricane damaged homes or churches, community clean ups, caring for the sick, elderly, and orphans. Additionally, we have conducted street ministry and neighborhood Vacation Bible Schools. The Bahamas is a great place to build a better relationship with your creator. The goal is to touch the life of another as Christ has touched ours.

Education
Education oriented charters  encompass a wide range of subjects such as marine biology, navigation, sailing and boat handling, Bahamian history and culture.  We work closely with the Bahamas National Trust in the up-keeping of the Exuma Land and Sea Park, as well as caring for the endangered Iguana and Turtle population that call the Exuma cays their home.

Scouting
7 C’s has developed a program for scouting about which you should know. It is a great experience that will last a lifetime.

During the trip, we encourage the leaders to let the scouts do all the work, thereby developing teamwork, self-esteem, and decision making ability. In a week, the scouts can earn the 50-Miler Award and International Scouting Patch among others. While in Nassau, we tour the forts, the straw market, a boys’ or girls’ home and get a history of the Bahamas. We can also arrange for the troop to meet a Bahamian scout troop.

Charleston, South Carolina
Back by popular demand, Beacon Won will be available for charter from Charleston, South Carolina between Labor Day and Christmas!! We can accommodate anything from two hour charters to four day cruises. We offer educational trips, youth and church retreats, wildlife watching, historical and sightseeing expeditions or just plain fun in the sun relaxation.

Beacon Won has no prescribed itinerary. Each day’s sail is a unique wildlife search and island hopping expedition. Meals will vary, but fresh seafood is on the menu. Potential ports of call include Hilton Head, Beaufort, McClellanville, and Georgetown.

Traditional Spring Break
Spring break…that yearly tradition at college. At 7C’s, we give this tradition a new twist with fun in the sun and exotic islands.
